I very HIGHLY recommend going here for any and all laundry that needs to be done.

They asked for my phone number so that they'd be able to call me in case I forgot about my laundry, I suppose. I came back in about an hour and a half to find my comforter folded, bagged, and ready to go. It seems only cash is accepted, though, so be sure to bring some with you. It was $20 even, no tax or anything added onto that.

This is by far the best laundromat I have ever been to. The machines work great and properly, the price is cheaper than my apartments, and they're bigger to boot.

    b) For $20, they'd take care of everything for me and it would take about 90 minutes total.

    a) I could load it into the washer and dryer myself for $10 total. However, I would also need to bring my own laundry detergent.

I recently needed to wash a queen size comforter, which is too large for my laundry machine, so I Googled up some laundromats to see where I could get this done. Kim Le Laundromat sounded promising from the reviews, plus it's nearest to me and not located in the hood, so I decided to give it a try. It was my first time going to a laundromat, so I phoned ahead to make sure I'd be prepared. I was informed about two options:

Greeted at the door. place was clean, 7 washers and 4 dryers available for our laundry. More than dozen washers and 8 large dryers available. offered quarters for the machines 1.75 for wash and 1.00 for dry. Offered helpful tips to save time and money . Bring own soap and fabric softeners. Don't know about the complaints. I thought this was great and cheaper than other locations.

Very bad customer service. The machine ate money and she won't fix it or refund. Besides washing I wanted to dry cushions which are nit washable, she won't let it. Seems like a front for some illegitimate business. Also the walk way from the parking to the store is full if ice. They never clean it. It is very dangerous to walk on. People who are pregnant or little kids can be easily injured there. Not recommended.

$20 seemed pretty reasonable to me considering the gas I'd waste driving back and forth (a trip to put it in the wash, a trip to put it in the dryer, then a trip to pick it up), plus I had other plans for the day. The parking lot was a little weird - it's very small, making it fairly easy to drive into, but difficult to back out of (you practically have to back out directly onto the street). It was warm inside (a welcome change from the cold winter setting outdoors) and full of, well, washing machines and dryers.

I had a total of 13 loads to wash and dry, and I left within just over 2 hours. Not to mention the woman that works here is immensely helpful! I had my toddler with me for the endeavor, and throughout his exploring and mild tantrums she helped me load and unload the machines, brought him snacks and gave me good pointers to save money and time for which machines to use.

When I picked up my comforter, it was warm and smelled nice, as it should. It's unfortunate that they don't have a website detailing their prices and how things work, but you can just call in if you have any questions. The person working there does have an accent, though, which can make communication a little difficult, so you'll need to be patient, speak clearly, and listen carefully. It's a good place to do laundry in a good neighbourhood - if I ever have something big to wash, I'll be coming here again.
