  TODAY (2 and a half months later) they decided to pull my information and TEXT my PRIVATE number asking me to delete the review again. This is disgusting and I can't believe any manager would ever do something like that. STAY AWAY!!!

  *PREFACE* the following review is what I posted on their Facebook page. DTNS was upset that I posted a bad review and started responding to my review saying that they sent me the prices ahead of time so it shouldnt be a shock (they charged for for shellac when I got gel). They then messaged me on Facebook privately about 60 days after I got my nails done saying they would refund me, if I deleted my review. I accepted the etransfer, because I should have NOT have had to pay for the service, and kept the review up because I think people should know the truth, not go into an unclean establishment and pay lots of money for bad service.

  So yes, my nails looked gorgeous. But I know many other places that will respect my wishes, not try to con me out of my money, and actually care about the cleanliness of their business.

  My nails looked absolutely gorgeous after I walked out of there. But I do have a few problems.

  They did not tell me the colour that I got was shellac, so I ended up paying $10 more for the nails that I did not know about until it was too late. My nail tech also decided to add a bunch of gems to my nails after I said no thank you and I was charged another $10 for nail art.

  But my biggest problem was the cleanliness. The inside of the spa looks great and very clean! But none of the tools used were clean. The files looks like they've been used on dozens of people, there is residue all over every tool I saw. And my nail tech actually handed over a tool she has JUST been using on me to the person next to her, and they began to use it on their client without any means of disinfecting.

  The Downtown Nail Spa team have been wonderful in answering my many questions. The level of support and friendliness is truly amazing, particularly for a new tech like myself.
